Prime95 is a free tool for testing the stability of the processor and the system as a whole. The principle of operation of the application is based on a large number of mathematical calculations, which is well suited for checking the processor for speed and stability in extreme mode.
The program computes Mersenne primes, compares the result with the reference value, and determines the possible deviations, which in turn is an indicator of the instability of the system. This operation uses a large amount of computer memory.
The program has several modes of operation: stability test and performance test. There is a possibility of comparing the results, which sends the received data to its own website, where the table can compare the performance with similar configurations.
