Recent File Seeker 1.0

Recent File Seeker is a free and portable file search tool. Provides many search filters and writes the results to a log file.

Supports a very dynamic search scheme. There is an opportunity to set several keywords and use wildcards, such as * or ?. You can separate several keywords with a | sign . The utility will try to match keywords with the file name, including the file extension. If a match is found, the selected file information will be logged.

Despite the fact that the program was created to search for malware, users can use it to search for anything.

You can filter the search results by the date the files were created. There is an option that allows you to ignore Microsoft files, scan only files located in the selected root folder, scan recent folders, etc.

Other parameters determine the information fields that will be recorded in the log. Every time the utility finds a file matching the selected filter, it will log a new line containing the requested information.
