Reigns is a card strategy where you will rule your own medieval kingdom of a modern formation and with one swipe of your finger (literally) you will make decisions on which your power will directly depend. Each card is a specific case with two solutions to choose from. The fate of the whole kingdom may depend on whether you swipe the card left or right. The goal of the game is the longest reign on the throne.

Lead your people to prosperity and power, strengthen your power. You will have to deal with a large flow of requests from your advisers, residents of your kingdom, your allies and enemies and balance between influential factions. Every decision has its consequences, favorable and unfavorable, and you risk everything, not only your throne, but also the fate of your royal dynasty. Unforeseen actions, unexpected events and simple bad luck can shake the throne even under the strongest monarch.

Every year you are faced with new tasks that you have to solve, looking for a point of balance between the church, the people, the army and the treasury. All 4 criteria are equally important for the prosperity of the kingdom, and if at least one of them drops to zero, you will lose. Balanced decisions and careful planning are the key to a long reign.

The game is not limited to simple economic management. The simulator includes military campaigns, ancient curses, plague epidemics, weddings, adoptions, betrayals and deals with the devil himself. Some events span entire centuries from the burning of witches to the age of Enlightenment, where insidious politicians and, possibly, the Devil himself rule the ball.
