RightMark 3DSound consists of three tests:
- RightMark 3DSound: Positioning Accuracy. Checking the quality of positioning of audio sources when using DirectSound3D. Subjective listening is performed on a three-dimensional stage with a moving sound source, and the possibility of its interactive movement by the user in three-dimensional space. This test supports all the basic properties of EAX4 Advanced HD.
- RightMark 3DSound: CPU Utilization. The test is used to measure the CPU load depending on the mode of operation of the DirectSound device. The test is synthetic, emulates the main cycle of a typical sound engine in computer games. In addition to the standard DirectSound diagnostics, the availability of the EAX support version is checked.
- RightMark 3DSound: Data Analyzer. Statistical data processing is used to exclude the influence of random bursts of operating system activity, as well as to obtain more information about the nature of processor utilization. This allows you to get not only the average value of the data, but also their spread.
