RightMark Memory Analyzer is a package of tests for accurate measurement of the most significant low-level characteristics of the CPU/chipset/RAM subsystem. This test package, which combines a number of subtests designed to measure the objective characteristics of system elements, is extremely necessary to assess the most important objective characteristics of the platform as a whole.
Allows you to find out the following information about the platform:
- CPUID data - manufacturer, model and kernel name, family, stepping, supported instruction sets, cache and TLB features,
- Chipset data (north and south bridges) - manufacturer, model name, AGP settings, type/capacity and current timings of installed RAM
- Memory SPD (Serial Presence Detect) data - type and capacity of modules, manufacturer, model number, features and timings.
The microarchitecture tests offered by the program allow you to determine the most important low-level characteristics of the platform, including:
- Average and peak RAM throughput,
- The size of the L1/L2/L3 data cache and its hierarchy (inclusive/exclusive),
- Average and minimum/maximum latency of the L1/L2/L3 data cache and RAM,
- Associativity of the L1/L2/L3 data cache,
- The bandwidth of the L1-L2 and L2-L3 buses, as well as data arrival delays,
- Size of I-ROB (Instructions Reorder Buffer),
- L1 instruction cache size (including effective size) and associativity,
- Decoding efficiency of simple x86 instructions (ALU/FPU/MMX),
- The size and associativity of each D-TLB level,
- The size and associativity of each I-TLB level.
