Rufus is a small utility for formatting and creating bootable USB drives, as well as USB keys and memory cards. Unlike similar programs, Rufus works much faster and will be useful in cases when:
- you need to create USB installation media with loading ISO images (Windows, Linux, UEFI, etc.)
- you need to work on a device that does not have an operating system installed
- you need to flash the BIOS or create other firmware from under DOS
- you need to run low-level utilities.
Among other things, you can use Rufus to download official ISO images of various versions of Windows 10 and Windows 8.1 operating systems.
The program is very easy to use, has standard and advanced configuration options and is suitable for users with any level of computer proficiency.
