RusRoute firewall is an application that is a flexible tool for accessing an organization's LAN network to the Internet. There is a calculation and limitation of user traffic, protection against network attacks with NAT functions, redirect, dynamic TCP shapers with conditional expressions, VPN server, proxy, LAN bridge to VPN, DHCP servers, HTTP caches, HTTP/1.1 to HTTP proxy converter, speed and connection monitor, captive portal, with expiration time and splitters for rules, with additional routing capabilities.

RusRoute consists of two modules: a driver that intercepts Ethernet and IP packets (Internet Protocol packets version 4) and transmits these packets for processing to the firewall module.
