Sliding Blocks is a simple, but at the same time an exciting game, the goal of which is to go as far as possible and earn as many points as possible.
The game is divided into levels. At the beginning of each level, the playing field is populated with colored blocks. The number of initial blocks depends on the level number, the higher the level, the more blocks. On the sides of the playing field there are storages of colored blocks. There is also a block waiting to be placed in one of the repositories.
The playing field is presented in the form of a grid. Blocks taken out of the vaults automatically move along the grid line until they meet an obstacle in their path, or until they reach the opposite block storage.
The block is moved in the direction opposite to the placement of the block storage from which it is removed. As soon as a block leaves its storage, the queue of blocks in the line to which the desired block belonged moves to its place, and a new block is placed at the end of the queue. A block cannot be removed from storage if there is not a single obstacle in its path. A block that has flown into the block storage from the side of the playing field pushes the queue of blocks located along its line of movement back, that is, this block becomes the first in the queue to enter the playing field.
Blocks of the same color, located on the playing field and touching the edges, form a chain. If the number of blocks in the chain is greater than or equal to 3, then it is removed from the field. In this case, the player is credited with a multiple of the length of the chain and the number of game colors.
A level is considered completed when there is not a single block left on the playing field. At the end of the level, the player can be credited with a bonus for passing. The game ends when the player cannot send any blocks from the vaults to the playing field. The difficulty of the game is graded by the number of colors in which the blocks can be painted. The difficulty level can be set in the game menu. In this case, the current game disappears, and the new game will be launched from the first level, and all the player's points will be reset.
