STANDARD Codecs for Windows 7, 8, 10 is a package of filters and audio (video) codecs from the developer Vista Codec Package and Windows 7 Codecs, after installation of which you can easily play multimedia files in Windows 8 - 10 using any player. During installation, the program automatically uninstalls already installed codecs, while replacing them with its own to ensure better compatibility.
By analogy with its predecessor ADVANCED Codecs, this program does not include any additional players and does not change the system file associations. Streaming video playback in several formats is also supported. Each component of the package can be removed separately without the need to delete all codecs.
