StereoPhotoView is a tool for viewing and editing stereoscopic 3D photos. The program supports working with stereo pairs in formats such as JPS and JPEG, MPO, as well as separate JPEG files.

Stereo pairs in JPS and JPEG files are ordinary JPEG images with two angles side by side. The angles can be arranged as follows:

• horizontal pair,
• vertical pair,
• anamorphic horizontal pair,
• anamorphic vertical pair,
• anaglyph (obsolete format).

In a horizontal pair, the angles are located side by side, in a vertical pair - one above the other. In the horizontal anamorphic pair, the images are compressed by 2 times horizontally, in the vertical anamorphic pair - vertically. JPS files can contain metadata that specifies the type of stereo pair used. In this case, the program automatically detects the source format.

MPO files contain two separate JPEG images for left and right angles. Such files should be automatically detected by 3D TVs as the source of the 3D image.

There are several options for displaying stereo photos on the screen:

• mono - left or right angle (used to display one of the angles of the stereo image on a conventional monitor),
• interlaced - the usual mode for 3D displays using polarizing technology of separation of angles, such as 3D TVs and LG monitors (you can view 3D images without including 3D mode display, and just wearing 3D glasses),
• parallel stereo pair,
• anamorphic stereo pair.

Also, this application allows you to edit the parallax value - the relative horizontal shift of views.
