Stop Resetting My Apps is a small portable utility that prevents some embedded applications from being installed as default applications. Windows 10 may periodically reset default apps, which usually happens after a system update or an update to one of the built-in Windows apps, such as Microsoft Edge, Photos, or Groove Music. It can also be caused by a third-party application.
This program has been designed in such a way as to be simple and not require special knowledge. The user just needs to tap or tap the tile of the built-in application that you want to block (or, conversely, unlock).
When an application is locked, it cannot be set as the default application for any file extension or protocol. Stop Resetting My Apps will display an icon above the tile of this app, allowing you to easily identify which apps are currently blocked.
