Syncplay is a great application for syncing video player playback on computers around the world. Now, if you wanted to watch a new movie together with a friend or a significant other, while being in completely different places, then it is Syncplay that will provide this opportunity. Each user does not need to download a file to his PC and start playing it on a common command - it is enough for someone to create a server, and the rest to join the broadcast, then Syncplay will remotely synchronize playback, rewind, pauses in all players at once.

Syncplay supports such popular media players as VLC and MPC-HC. To start broadcasting, no specific knowledge is required - several public servers are already included in the program, you will only have to choose any one you like, specify the room number (at will), decide on the player and the file to play directly. After that, a window will open with controls (pause, rewind, etc.) and a list of connected users. When everyone is gathered, you can start the movie and simultaneously enjoy watching it. It is worth noting that you can play both local files on a PC and streaming video via a URL link.

Unfortunately, Syncplay does not have its own chat yet, so you will have to use third-party clients (for example, Skype or any ICQ manager) to communicate within the group.
