SystemRescueCD is a bootable LiveCD based on Linux, which includes a set of functional tools for administration and recovery of the system and user data after a failure. It contains a package of programs for working with a hard disk (partitioning, diagnostics, saving and restoring partitions), network connection settings, and there is also a rootkit finder and a built-in antivirus.
Key features of the program:
- Support for the most popular file systems (ext2/ext3/ext4, reiserfs, reiser4, btrfs, xfs, jfs, vfat, ntfs, iso9660).
- Creating, deleting and copying hard disk partitions using the Gparted utility.
- The ability to copy hard disk partitions to files or to partitions of another hard disk (Partimage).
- Recovery of user data, such as music, photos, etc. (Photorec).
- Support for a variety of external media.
- The presence of the built-in antivirus ClamAV.
- Availability of a utility for working with archives.
- Built-in text editor.
- Built-in file manager and browser.
- Ability to work with the network (ssh-, dhcp-, tftp-, vnc- servers, rsync, nfs-, samba-, ftp- clients).
