Tabata HiKi Interval Timer is an interval workout used for weight loss, with a total duration (round) of 4 minutes. The workout consists of eight cycles of intense loads, interspersed with a short rest (the ideal tabata workout will consist of 8 rounds of 3 cycles).
Tabata training works according to a mixed anaerobic-aerobic type of physical activity with the maximum possible energy expenditure for the body, which not only provides a colossal burning of reserve fats during training, but also sets an accelerated pace of metabolic processes during recovery.
Simultaneously with weight loss, endurance is trained and, as a result, the power of the cardiovascular system and the ability of muscle tissue to absorb more oxygen is developed, which is directly proportional to the amount of fat burned. As a result, with each next tabata workout, getting rid of extra pounds becomes easier and faster.
It is considered that the tabata training was carried out successfully if, at the end of the eighth round, you feel fever and moderate muscle pain, sweat is pouring from you, and the pulse is 70-80% of the maximum allowable value for your age category, which is calculated by the formula: pulse = 220 - age.
Tabata training is contraindicated for people with heart failure and atherosclerosis.
