TCryptLib 2.4

TCryptLib is a component for Delphi 2, 3, 4, 5. Performs encryption-decryption of files, strings, streams in memory (TMemoryStream) by block encryption, password hash function generation, automatic password validation when decrypting files, password verification by hash function value. Encrypted data can be pre-compressed using LZW, Zip algorithms, which enhances the cryptographic strength of encryption. Even without the use of compression, an encrypted megabyte text file consisting of only zeros is not compressed by rar or zip archivers, which means that encryption translates information from a state of minimal entropy to maximum, which is a necessary condition for the cryptographic stability of the algorithm.
