The Core Media Player (TCMP) is a multimedia player that is capable of playing most of all existing audio and video formats. Unlike the free version, the Premium version of TCMP has DVD support and the ability to install an unlimited number of plugins. Support for new formats is provided through installable DirectShow filters, there are removable skins, support for working with playlists (M3U, PLS, NPL, XML), Winamp Digital Signal Processing (DSP) and Winamp Visualization (VIS) plugins. In addition, there are a large number of other useful features for working with audio and video files.
The player supports playlists and the following audio and video formats: MP3, OGG, MID, WAV, AC3, AU, MP2, MPA, CDA, MPC, APE, XviD, DVD, AVI, MPEG-1, SVCD, VCD, OGM, DAT, etc.
