Tick-tack-toe is a logic game between two opponents, known as tic-tac-toe. The playing field consists of many cells. One of the players plays with crosses, the second with zeros. Players must take turns filling in the empty cells with their signs. The winner is the one who lines up the specified (for the corresponding field) number of cells in a row.
There are several modifications of the game that differ from each other by the type of field. The program implements traditional tic-tac-toe on a 3x3 field, three-dimensional tic-tac-toe on a 4x4x4 field and four-dimensional tic-tac-toe on a 4x4x4x4 field.
In the 3d version of the game, the playing field is a cube divided into 64 small cubes - 4x4x4. The winner is the one who will be the first to line up 4 identical signs in a row: fill one of the horizontal or vertical rows or one of the diagonals of the cube with his signs. If the entire field is occupied and no player has fulfilled the victory condition, the game ends in a draw. For ease of display, the playing field is presented in the form of four flat 4x4 squares, divided into 16 cells each.
In the 4d version of the game, the playing field is a 4-cube divided into 256 small cubes: 4x4x4x4. The winner is the one who first builds 4 identical signs in a row (line): fills one of the rows parallel to the edges of the 4-cube with his signs, or one of the diagonals of the 4-cube cube. If the entire field is occupied and no player has fulfilled the previous victory condition, the game ends in a draw. For ease of display, the playing field is presented in the form of 16 flat 4x4 squares, divided into 16 cells each.
There are several levels of difficulty available in the program, there are disabled/enabled hints. The ability to save the game to a file is implemented.
