Universal Cheat is a program with which everyone can 'configure' in their chosen game, the number of lives, resources, etc. they need. The program rummages in RAM and searches there for the number that you specify to it. As a result, you get a list of addresses for which the requested number was found in RAM. After the subsequent "dropout" of the left addresses, replace the parameter you are interested in with a new value.
