UpdatePack-XPSP3-Rus - A set of the latest updates for Russian Windows XP Professional SP2 and SP3. The package is designed to integrate updates and hotfixes into the Windows distribution.

The contents of the Windows installation disk are copied to any directory on the hard disk and after running the script processes the selected files updating only what is necessary.

At the same time, the files extracted from the patches are updated directly (the usual methods add the patches themselves to the distribution, which are run from svcpack.inf when installing Windows). With this approach, installation time is saved, and the size of the distribution increases slightly. In addition to updating files (in the I386 directory and CAB archives), CAT files (security directories for verifying digital signatures) are registered in SVCPACK, and at the installation stage the necessary information is added to the registry. After the actions performed, you just need to create a boot disk with updated Windows.
