WIDI Recognition System - the program converts digital music recordings into MIDI commands (Wave to MIDI, mp3 to MIDI). The program is able to recognize music containing many voices. What used to require several hours of musician's work can now be done almost automatically in a few minutes.
WIDI Recognition System is able to use as source recordings both WAVE files and mp3 files, CD tracks and the sound coming directly from the microphone without recording it to a file. Creating MIDI files based on the original digital recordings allows you to:

• Convert the melody to a musical format for making changes
• Upload the melody to the website
• Use it as a call in a cell phone
• Learn a melody by playing it on any musical instrument that supports MIDI
• Use the resulting MIDI file in any music editor
• Create a preview function for mp3 collections (allows you to save traffic)

Recognition of sound directly coming from a microphone or line input allows you to convert the sound of a non-MIDI instrument (for example, an acoustic guitar) into MIDI commands on the fly, which can be immediately executed by any other instrument using MIDI synthesizer. Thus, you can convert the sound of a guitar into the sound of, say, a violin or a piano.
