WireNote - Utility for working with Notes/ToDo List/Reminders/Address Book and messaging over the network (instead of WinPopup for example). The program is designed to help with daily work at the computer, is located in the tray and does not require excessive attention. The heart of the program is a tree-like structure in which notes, todos, reminders and links are located. It is available at any time either from the main program window or from the tray menu. All this (notes, etc.) can be created either by clicking on the tray icon or by pressing a hotkey (the 'Win' key is supported). All windows in WireNote are 'glued' to each other and the edges of the screen, which is very convenient. For each feature of this application, there are a lot of settings available through a convenient dialog. As already mentioned WireNote can be used instead of WinPopup-compatible programs. Due to the presence of an address book, you do not have to remember the name of your interlocutor's computer all the time - just enter it in the address book and use his name to send messages! If your interlocutor also has WireNote installed, then you will be able to transfer files along with messages, if not, then just text messages. All messages are logged, and you can also switch to the on-line status 'Busy' or 'Unavailable' at any time, respectively, in the address book you can see which of your interlocutors is not connected to the LAN at the moment, and who is connected, and whether he is ready to communicate.
Note is a small window where you can store text information. You can attach a note to any window - in this case, the note will be on the screen only while you are working with this application.
ToDo - a place to store your ideas created by ToDo is easily accessible from the tray menu or from the main window, without letting you forget about what needs to be done.
Reminders won't let you miss an important meeting or someone's birthday. When a reminder is triggered, WireNote can start a program, play a sound, turn off the computer or send a message over the network
Messages WireNote can be used to exchange messages over a LAN network, instead of Windows messaging service or WinPopup for example. All messages use convenient nicknames from the address book and not computer names (which are sometimes quite difficult to remember). WireNote automatically monitors users from the address book -who is online and who is not. When sending/receiving messages, one of three protocols can be used, files can be exchanged, a special icon (Emotion) can be assigned to the message, so that the recipient will immediately understand what kind of information is contained in the message without even opening it Links are created for ease of access to frequently used resources or for sharing documents together with related todos or notes.
