YARKSI - Japanese-Russian computer dictionary of hieroglyphs. The hieroglyph search system adopted in YARKSI is based on a sample of radicals (graphic components) from a specially designed table containing 632 radicals. To search, select one or more radicals from the menu. There are two search modes and a number of additional settings.

Contains a phonetic dictionary of compound words (jukugo) used in articles of the hieroglyphic dictionary to illustrate the word-forming functions of hieroglyphs. In addition, the phonetic dictionary can be used separately to find Japanese words by their hieroglyphic spelling, transcription or meaning.
