Zond 265 (HEVC Video Analyzer) is an innovative tool for in-depth visual analysis of HEVC/H video streams.265 and AVC/H.264. The program presents in a convenient form information about NAL, frame types and sizes, timestamps, frame numbers in the order of decoding / display, bits of distribution between frame elements, encoding of data blocks, encoding of coefficient blocks, prediction blocks, transformation blocks, motion vectors, quantizers, different stages of image decoding. File formats such as H.265/HEVC, H.264/AVC, MPEG-2, MP4 (MPEG-4 Part 12) are supported.
Main features:
- High Dynamic Range (HDR) detection and analysis. Frame-by-frame analysis and interpretation of SEI blocks in various Frame Stats.
- Hypothetical Reference Decoder (HRD) Buffer stream: monitoring the instantaneous fullness of the buffer.
- Comprehensive file information, including profile, level, color subsampling, color depth, resolution, aspect ratio, bitrate, frame rate, HDR information, compression efficiency, and GOP length statistics.
- The bitrate histogram.
- Easy navigation of frames in the order of decoding or displaying as columns of frames.
- Histogram of frame sizes with color designation of various frame types (I, B, P). Marking of reference frames for the current image.
- An easy-to-use interface and a visual representation of data at all levels of the video stream and decoding stages.
- Collection and visual representation of statistics on the distribution of bits used in encoding CU, PU and TU data. Displaying the results in the form of a table.
- Quality assessment. PSNR and MSSIM metrics are supported. The values of quality metrics can be shown as a visual graph or a PSNR map for a tree of encoded frame blocks.
- References to the HEVC/H.265, AVC/H.264 specification for most syntactic elements.
- Detecting HEVC stream errors.
- Supported file formats:
- Elementary H.265/HEVC video stream
- Elementary H.264/AVC video stream
- MPEG-2 transport stream for HEVC/H video streams.265 and AVC/H.264
- MP4 (MPEG-4 Part 12) files with HEVC/H video streams.265 and AVC/H.264
